Green Crow is a privately owned company focusing on the timberland and wood products industries. We provide timberland investment management services to both institutional and individual investors. Our operations are in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and Northeast, and New Zealand.

A Brief History
We trace our history back to Christmas Eve in 1983, when the Crow family purchased their first acres on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Since this initial purchase of 16,000 acres, Green Crow has increased in size while maintaining its tradition of personal, courteous service. We have steadily expanded our geographical operations and services since the 1980s. After several land purchases on the Peninsula, we expanded operations geographically into Grays Harbor, Washington, in 1986 with the purchase of a tract of timber that was primarily western red cedar in the Grays River area.

Shortly after the Grays River purchase, we acquired our first outside timber management client, beginning the company’s efforts to expand its business services along with its geographical reach.

Over the next ten years, we continued to accumulate land as opportunities arose. The company continued their presence in Washington, but also began to explore opportunities beyond the Northwest. By the end of the 1990s, we had expanded into Oregon, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New Zealand, where operations continue today.

In addition to purchasing land and managing land for outside clients, Green Crow has continually sought other business opportunities. We operate successful rock quarries and log yards, and in 1999 formed Green Crow Properties to develop real estate tracts.

Drawing on the company’s years of experience and expertise, Green Crow has provided extensive timberland management services to timberland investors since 1985.

With a history of steady growth and excellent service, we have earned a trusted name in the forestry business. We have the capability to perform complex management and transaction services while still maintaining our commitment to personal, friendly service.
